Inspired by the eclectic community fusing into Oak Lawn, Le Taco Cantina is a Neighborhood restaurant designed and built by Managing Partner Dylan Elchami using reclaimed materials creating a cavernous mid century layout with an open-aired feel to compliment the resurrected space which was originally built in 1947 to host Texas Alcohol Narcotics Education classes by Dr. Lindsay R. Curtis, MD.
Chef Daniel Tarasevich forms flavors that scream all things Dallas. Creating a triage of Texas-Southwestern & Asian-fusion flavors using slow smoked meat and French culinary technique to combine unique flavors inside of a simple hand made tortilla.
The bar program compliments our food culture while hi-lighting a dialogue that features hand squeezed fruit juices & fresh young coconuts and also culinary techniques like duck-fat rye whiskey infusions & house roasted pepper modifiers. Food + Beverage soars harmoniously at Le Taco Cantina. Exuding warmth and communal energy and serving as a central gathering place for its neighborhood.
